For Sarah & Pieter-Jan, I designed a wedding invitation consisting of two distinct, complementary parts. The invitation to the church ceremony featured a black-and-white photo of the couple on the front, with all the practical information on the back. In addition, a separate card was provided for the evening party, designed in the same style so that both cards form a whole.
The design is sober and timeless, with soft green tones, clear typography and sufficient white space. Both cards were held together with a simple gold-coloured paper clip and combined with a dark green envelope. The result is an invitation that is clear, personal and coherent in form and appearance.
