Some projects are extra special to work on. For the birth of my very first niece, I had the honour of designing her birth announcement card.
For Colette, I designed a sturdy card with a double arch shape. The soft, rounded lines give the card a playful yet chic character. Her name is elegantly written in orange and surrounded by a pattern of lilac flowers. That fresh orange colour is also reflected in the pistils of the flowers.
The style of the card was continued in the birth gifts. The honey jars were given a mini name card that perfectly matched the design of the card. For the other birth gifts, I made personalised name stickers with my Cricut, so that the same style was reflected there too. A small gift from me to the parents, because making such small stickers with the Cricut is really painstaking work. This little family project deserved some extra love and attention.
